Arashi Shibori Workshop Success

The Arashi Shibori workshop was a smashing success! Mary Valerie Richter, out instructor,  was well prepared, organized and very clear in her directions and instructions. She was prepared to make us successful.

Many of the participants had some experience in pole wrapping. Mary's class wasn't about the basics, although there were lots of tips to speed up and make the wrapping process easier. She taught more variations than we each could do in one day, however, between all of us, I think we covered most of them, including a bead wrapped technique!  Take a look at the photos and you will see nothing but success.

Many thanks to Mary for her thorough preparation and excellent teaching skills. I, for one, learned a LOT and had fun in the process. I can't wait to get back to the studio to  do more!
