Yesterday I spent an exciting day seeing two exhibits that
will end soon so I encourage you to see them right away.
Studio Art Quilt exhibit (first 2 images attached) at the
Ford Museum ends on this Sunday the 16th.
Ann Keister's exhibit of collaborative textiles and jewelery
is on show until the 21st at the GVSU's Allendale campus in
the Performing Arts Center. It includes heavily beaded
work, reverse applique using old Japanese kimono fabrics,
indigo dyed shibori fabrics from Japanese, and her
collaborative jewelry pieces.
If you can find the time to see these two exhibits, you
won't regret taking the time!
